Healing takes time
sessions tailored to trauma recovery
Working with trauma takes time. Your nervous system has worked hard for many years to protect you from Re-membering the intolerable pain.
This is why I offer longer sessions. To give you the adequate and necessary time to build safety in your brain-body, and in our relationship, so you can orient towards, Re-member, and process what needs healing. This is especially relevant for trauma that is not in conscious awareness: pre-verbal/pre-cognitive, ancestral/generational trauma, etc.
The standard therapeutic hour does not accommodate the complexity and depth of this work. Clients benefit from sessions that are 75 minutes and longer in order to fully and safely process traumatic material.
Yes, it is an investment of time, finances, and energy. And, you are worth it.

Payment Methods
I only accept private pay, as I’m not in-network with any insurance companies. Payment is held securely on file and processed within 24 hours of each session. Accepted payment methods include all major debit/credit cards and CareCredit.
Benefits of Private Pay:
Greater freedom to choose a therapist who best meets your needs
You don’t require a formal mental health diagnosis
Increased confidentiality, as I won’t have to share your treatment plan or a diagnosis with an insurance company
Increased freedom for us to collaborate on goals, therapies used, and length of treatment
Even if your insurance changes, we can still continue to work together
Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers are required to provide clients, who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Under this law, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate,” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
